By Nils Myszkowski in Creativity Psychometrics Educational assessment
What it’s about
In this paper, we test whether creativity can be assessed through an immersive visual task in virtual reality, and examine how well this approach captures meaningful individual differences.
Abstract
The study introduces and evaluates a virtual-reality visual creativity assessment designed to move creativity measurement into richer digital environments. The paper examines feasibility and reports psychometric evidence, including analyses of structural validity, internal reliability, and criterion-related validity. Results support the potential of immersive task formats for creativity assessment while also clarifying limitations and future directions for measurement development.
