Personality Traits Leading Respondents to Refuse to Answer a Forced-Choice Personality Item: An Item Response Tree (IRTree) Model

In this paper, published in Psych, we investigate which personality traits predict refusal to choose in forced-choice personality items, using an IRTree model to jointly model skipping behavior and reported reasons for refusal.
